Some Stray Thoughts on the GLTAS Finale
Alright, hands down, my favorite part of the episode was the ending with Razer.
During that part, I (and many people I’m sure) noticed it was this show, and Razer coming full circle.
In the very first scene of the show, Razer traps Green Lantern M’ten, and works with Zox to kill him. He’s an angry kid, and he hates all Green Lanterns. His first line, addressed to M’ten is:
“Wrong. I am not a friend.”
In the last scene of the finale, after everything they’ve been through Razer says a farewell to Hal and Kilowog.His last line to Kilowog:
“Kilowog, my friend. You would only slow me down.”
(also continuing my favorite trend of Razer saying something kinda nice to Kilowog then immediately insulting him.)
The first scene of the show has Razer faking being stranded on a wrecked ship, prompting the need for a GL to save him. We soon find out Razer was not in need of saving at all, and even if he did, he’d probably despise that a Green Lantern had to do it.
The last scene of the show has Razer’s final line to Green Lantern Hal go as such:
“Save me. I know Hal. You already have.”
Razer acknowledges all the help he’s received from a GL. Hal’s saved Razer plenty of times, noticeably when Razer was suicidal.
The first scene of the show ends with the ring of the Green Lantern Razer helped murder on it’s way back to Oa.
In the last, we see a blue ring on it’s way to Razer.
Full circle.
The writing for this show is impeccable.

I thought so at first too but I think I heard the GLTAS cancellation was more because WB was disappointed with toy sales? Could be either I guess
